SANTAS MAGIC LIGHTS PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what information Santas Magic Lights ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Contact details: name, phone number, email, and service address.
Service details: quote requests, scheduling, and project preferences.
Messages: texts, calls, and emails between you and us.
Payment details: if you pay by card, payment information is collected and processed by Wix and Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
Website data: browser type, device, IP address, pages visited, and cookie data.

2. HOW WE COLLECT IT

When you fill out a form on our website.
When you call, text, or email us (including from our yard signs, business cards, Google, or Facebook).
Automatically through cookies, pixels, and website analytics.

3. HOW WE USE IT

Provide quotes and schedule, install, and remove lights.
Send service-related messages and respond to your questions.
Process payments and keep business records.
Understand website traffic and measure and improve our advertising and services.
Comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS / TEXT MESSAGING

When you check the SMS box on our contact form, you agree to receive text messages from Santa’s Magic Lights about your quote, scheduling, appointment reminders, and occasional promotions. We collect your phone number, any replies you send, and message delivery data, and use them only to send these messages and respond to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or text-message information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Our text messages are not intended for anyone under 13.

5. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

Service providers that help us operate, including Wix (website hosting), Stripe (payment processing), and our messaging and scheduling tools. They may use it only to serve us.
Analytics and advertising partners, specifically Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (Meta Pixel), through cookies and similar tools. See Section 6.
Legal or government authorities when required by law.
A buyer, if the business is sold, subject to this policy.
None of the sharing described in this section includes text messaging originator opt-in data or consent, which is never shared with any third party.

6. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to keep the site working, understand traffic, and measure and improve our advertising. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, device, and pages viewed, and may share it with Google and Meta. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's "Global Privacy Control" or do-not-track settings, or opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Some site features may not work properly if cookies are blocked.

7. EMAIL

We do not currently send marketing or service emails. If we do in the future, every email will include an unsubscribe option, and you can also contact us to opt out.

8. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

10. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

California residents may request to know what personal information we hold, request deletion or correction, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of analytics and advertising cookies and pixels (Section 6) may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out, use the browser and ad settings in Section 6 or contact us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us below.

This does not apply to text messaging opt-in data or consent, which is never shared or sold.

11. CHILDREN

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12. CHANGES

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page.
